PSU BET Program Improvement Project
The BET classroom, lab and equipment at Penn State New Kensington is in need of modernization to keep current with expansion of the program and ever changing medical equipment. Our need is twofold—(1) upgrade our cramped
classroom to allow more students and (2) provide industry current operating
medical and test equipment. Our heavily used and now becoming outdated
equipment is over 15 years old.
My request to
you is to ask for your financial support. A
foundation in Pittsburgh has generously agreed to help us fund a portion of the
equipment through a match—dollar for dollar, up to $50,000. This is where we need your help. Would you please give to help us with the
match? Your tax deductible gift can be
made with cash, checks, credit cards, pledges, securities or new equipment as a
gift-in-kind.
Your support
of this gift match will create a university-foundation-graduate-healthcare
partnership for meeting the needs of the students and the program. Your help will increase the education
experience and technical skills that we are well known for. It will also allow graduates to have the
expertise necessary for a direct transition from school to the workforce. A win-win for all: jobs for grads, healthcare professionals with
specialized skills and quality programs at Penn State New Kensington.
Vendors participating in the mini-trade show are encouraged to make a donation to this project in lu of paying a fixed fee for vendor space. Simply click on the link below, complete the form and make a donation. If you are unable to make a cash donation, medical equipment, tools or test equipment may also be accepted as well. Specific questions on donations can be directed to me at the contact information below. I look forward to hearing from each and every
one of you.
Sincerely,
